The Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Economy (MITES) has entrusted us with this significant project to enhance public interaction, featuring the deployment of advanced technology and stringent security measures.

We have been appointed by MITES to undertake  the creation and integration of a new electronic platform at a cost of €1,397,000. The main objective of this project is to modernise the electronic site to provide a better service to the people and businesses that interact with MITES, increasing the effectiveness and efficiency in the management of administrative procedures and processes through the incorporation of advanced technologies and modern standards of security and accessibility.

MITES is a key institution in the Spanish public administration, responsible for the regulation and supervision of employment relations, social security, and employment policies. Faced with the challenge of modernising its systems and improving its digital interaction with the public, MITES has chosen us to lead this transformation, due to our experience and capabilities in large-scale technological projects.

The initiative to modernise MITES' electronic headquarters, known as "Creation and Integration of a New Electronic Headquarters for the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy," involves updating the catalogue of available transactions and gradually incorporating the different processes managed through the new platform. The initiative includes integration with the main systems already used in the Administration, guaranteeing a more efficient and secure management of data and procedures.

The new electronic portal will be developed with a focus on responsive, secure, and accessible solutions based on service-oriented frameworks. The user experience will be prioritised, ensuring intuitive and simple navigation, allowing procedures to be conducted online and at any time.

The stages and beneficts

The project will be rolled out in several phases. The first phase involves updating the catalogue of available procedures on the MITES online portal. This will be followed by the implementation of new features and the addition of further procedures. This stage includes integrating the new platform with existing administrative systems and incorporating advanced security and accessibility technologies to ensure an efficient and secure service. Extensive training and knowledge transfer will also be provided to MITES staff to ensure that they are trained to best use the new electronic site. This training will be essential to ensure a smooth transition and effective adoption of the new technologies and procedures.

Some of the main benefits of this agreement are that MITES will be able to provide a better service to the public and businesses, allowing procedures to be completed more quickly and efficiently. It will also increase transparency and security in the handling of data, meeting the highest standards of cybersecurity.

"We are delighted to be collaborating with MITES on this important project," says Natalia Garcia, Director of Public Sector at Altia. "Our experience in implementing digital solutions allows us to tackle the challenges of modernisation with an innovative and effective vision. With this new electronic website, individuals and businesses will benefit from more efficient and secure access to public services."

The MITES project for the creation and integration of a new electronic website represents a significant step forward in the modernisation of the Spanish public administration and reinforces our commitment to digital transformation and technological innovation. With this agreement, we are consolidating our position as a strategic partner in the digitisation of public services, contributing to a more efficient, accessible, and secure administration for everyone.
