Positive impact, continued growth, intact values

Positive impact, continued growth, intact values... expressions that we highlight from our Group’s 2022 Annual Report. It is certainly good news for all of us who are part of this project. I have already discussed the results and vision for the near future with some of you, and I will soon have the opportunity to do so with the rest of you.

A turnover of 167 million euros, where the revenues of Bilbomática and Wairbut have already been partially included. Consolidated EBITDA reached €16.3 m compared to €13.7 m in 2021, up 19%, and our net profit was €10.2 m compared to €8.7 m in 2021, up 19.3%. The data shows record figures.

But let us not stop there. These figures represent only a small part of what has been achieved.

We have grown – above all in talent, people and capacity. We have added much more than numbers – we have gained new concerns, needs and approaches. These changes have brought challenges, which we are overcoming day by day, and situations that are undoubtedly helping us evolve

We have taken new steps to ensure a smooth integration process for Bilbomática and Wairbut.

The European Agencies division has been unified under Altia European Services. This unit has gained a better position as a whole and already has presence in more than 15 organisations.

Constantino Fernández

In the north, Bilbomática has used the momentum of Altia’s portfolio and the synergy between teams has already begun to bear fruit. They are showing that together they are able to have greater impact.

Bringing people together (from Altia, Bilbomática and Wairbut) in the same corporate headquarters in Madrid and the new organisational structure are a big step towards integration under the Altia brand. We continue our efforts to facilitate knowledge transfer and team management.

At the same time, we started the year with a reorganisation of the governing bodies to strengthen us with new points of view and the Group’s increased diversity. We have rethought our technical leadership to bring more strength and a broader vision. New interdepartmental knowledge structures are emerging to give teams more and better support. Our firm commitment to international markets allows us to have a greater presence.

But, above all, we have added energy, we have added courage and we have added enthusiasm. These are the ingredients that will make us grow and become more relevant.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and energy. That is the real value.

Working with the Ministry of Defence to support the Military Health Information System

Wairbut, an Altia Company

The two-year contract, extendable for another two years, has an annual value of €1,115,000. It solidifies our position in the field of security and defence services.

The Spanish Ministry of Defence has awarded Wairbut, an Altia company, a contract for services to support the Military Health Information System. The contract, which starts in June 2023, is worth €1,115,000 per year. It furthers the group’s position in security and defence, along with other contracts with the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, the Directorate General for the Police and the Air Force.

The contract will involve a team of 13 systems and database consultants. These will run and maintain multiple IT platforms (hardware and software), including various technological environments. Specifically, we will provide specialised services for support coordination; administration, support and maintenance for various environments; application and system virtualisation; 24/7 monitoring and operation; and strategic consultancy and/or architecture analysis.

Thanks to these services, the Ministry will move towards building a single comprehensive defence information infrastructure. This way, it will be able to prioritise meeting the ICT needs of the armed forces. In addition, the use of standardised, homogeneous and interoperable systems will enhance security in ICT.

The Military Health Information System is a service under the Central Area of Core Information Systems, included in the Centre for the Management of Integrated Defence Information Services and Infrastructure (CEGES I3D), belonging to the Network Operations Division (DIVOPER) of the Centre for Information and Communications Systems and Technologies (CESTIC), functionally operating under the Spanish General Health Inspectorate (IGESAN).

Wairbut, an Altia company, has security certifications allowing it to operate strategic technology services for security and armed forces. It also has ‘National Reserved’ company security clearance (HSEM), with more than 60 professionals having ‘Reserved/Secret’ security clearance (HPS) from the Spanish National Intelligence Centre.
