The corporate procedures have begun for Altia to conduct the merger by absorption of Wairbut, a company acquired in July 2022. This process will lead to the final integration of all talent, ensuring enhanced service to clients with a strengthened portfolio and positioning.
Since this is an absorption merger in which the absorbed company is entirely owned (100%) by the absorbing company, the transaction can be executed in a simplified format, under the provisions of Article 53 of Spanish Royal Decree-Law 5/2023 of 28 June.
The team of professionals joining Altia has a high technological profile, allowing us to have a team of over 3,500 people with national and international presence. Moreover, the experience accumulated by both companies strengthens their market position while opening new avenues for growth.

Altia announced the acquisition of 100% of Wairbut in July 2022 for an amount of €5.44 million. The operation involved the incorporation of this company, founded in 2001 and based in Madrid into the Group. Wairbut has a significant volume of business, mainly in the public administration sector, particularly in the areas of home affairs and defence, as well as in telecommunications and healthcare.
Wairbut brings interesting synergies to boost the digitalisation of our clients and adds its expertise in areas such as security and IoT with the aim of enhancing and complementing the Group’s portfolio of services and solutions.
